The Cost of Buying Brand-New Kids' Clothes

Have you shopped for kids' clothes recently? If you have, you know how insanely expensive it is (along with everything else in the world right now).

I recently had to brave a popular retail kids' clothing store as we were out of town and I mistakenly had forgotten to bring hoodies or jackets for my boys. Of course, it was rainy and windy that day so I had to do something for my little dudes who were dressed for summer.

I made my way to the back of the store in hopes that there would be some hoodies in their size in the "sale" section. Alas, there was one hoodie in their size on sale that was still more than I wanted to pay (especially considering they have like 719 hoodies at home between the two of them). So I was sadly forced to pay full retail price for two kids' hoodies, which so happened to be THIRTY FRIGGIN' DOLLARS EACH!

Considering the amazing selection of super reasonable hoodies on our website, it pained me to buy brand-new ones for such an insane price. Since discovering the joy of preloved kids' clothes, I am loathe to pay new prices and support the big chain stores.

Of course, we are forced to buy new sometimes, but at Linen for Littles, we are doing everything we can to carry as many options as we can for you! And if you can't find what you're looking for on our website, you should definitely hop on over to the Little List website where you can find amazing preloved kids' shops across Canada! Every little bit that we can shop preloved makes a big difference!
